The 138 series is an affordable, durable, accurate position sensor designed for a wide range of industrial applications. It is particularly suitable for OEMs seeking good sensor performance in situations where a short, small diameter body is required and cost is a concern. The device is compact and space efficient, responds almost throughout its length and provides a linear output proportional to displacement. ATEX . IEC EX and CSA certified versions
Each unit is delivered with the output calibrated to the movement required by the customer, e.g. 0-51 mm to 0-100 mm and with full EMC protection built in.
Overall performance, repeatability and stability are outstanding over a wide temperature range. The sensor has a compact 19mm diameter stainless steel housing, is easy to install and set up. Mounting options include body clamps or a stainless steel mounting flange with two 3.2mm x 30 degree wide slots spaced 25mm centres. The stainless steel piston can be supplied separately or fixed, with M4 internal thread, or spring loaded with a ball end. The P138 also offers a range of mechanical options, environmental rating is IP67.
