The SMO3100 pressure sensor is a high-quality stainless steel pressure transducer, intended for use in measuring gases and liquids compatible with stainless steel.

The EMC properties of the SMO3100 series allow its use even in harsh automotive environments such as off-road vehicles, construction vehicles and agricultural vehicles. Its ratiometric model has been tested up to 300V/m.

The sensor has received E1 certification from ECE, which allows use as an approved part for the European automotive industry.

With additional EMI/RFI protection, low static and thermal errors, and high resistance to shock and vibration as standard, the SMO3100 ensures trouble-free operation at temperatures up to 125°C.

The SMO3100 piezo-resistive sensor element combined with the latest ASIC circuitry ensures excellent accuracy, high-level output selection and long-term stability, protected in a robust stainless steel housing. Its high-strength stainless steel construction contains no silicone oil and no internal O-rings. Measurements are available in gauge and absolute pressure, with ranges up to 4000 bar and are covered by a one-year warranty.

The SMO3100 PLd is a version of the SMO series intended for applications with safety-integrated level or performance-level requirements.
