JC040 proportional Hall effect rocker
About the product
JC040 is a proportional Hall effect rocker for use in joystick handles and other human-machine applications
The JC040 is a proportional rocker for use in joystick grips and other human-machine interfaces
- Robust design for demanding applications.
- Go back to the city center
- Optional mechanical overpress function
- at both ends of the movement
- Low sub-panel depth of 21 mm
- Hall-effect sensor technology
- Rated for 1 million life cycles
- Dual-redundant electronic architecture
- Outputs with sensor and voltage span options
- Dual supply to ensure a high level of signal integrity
- Designed to allow contamination (liquid or dust) to pass through the mechanism without causing damage
- Two robust, reversible operating options are available: a ±25° movement from centre; or a ±20° movement with an overpress function, which can be included in both directions of movement or just one, used to indicate a different mode of machine operation. In all versions, a compact mechanical design means that the required space under the panel is only 21 mm.
The flip-flop utilizes non-contact, Hall-effect sensing technology that eliminates contact wear and ensures long-lasting output signal life, resulting in a minimum life of 1 million cycles.
Safety is enhanced via a fully dual-redundant electronic architecture consisting of two power supplies and two sensor circuits, whose outputs can be set to positive or negative ramps or a combination of both. Electronic robustness is ensured by the enclosure’s sealing rated to IP67.
