Connect any vibration meter or analyzer to the A4802 sensor simulator and check if it is measuring correctly. The sensor simulator generates stable voltage signal at 80 Hz and 8 kHz. Set the device to 100 mV/g sensitivity for the input sensor and you should see the value of 10 mm/s velocity measurement and 0.5 g acceleration measurement.
Sensor simulator is a good help for inspection of measurement system cables and connectors. There are problems if the LED indication flashes while you stress the cable or connectors. It is a sign of poor connection between analyzer and sensor simulator.
