Incremental encoder based on a magnetic scanning principle. Bearing less design for indefinite usable life.

The encoder consists of two parts. First the magnet which rotates and couples onto the driving shaft.

The second scanning unit is stationary and connects to the receiving Electronics providing two 90º phase shifted HTL signals.

The MG22 encoder can be supplied with any resolution up to 1024 ppr. A marker pulse or index pulse can be provided up on request.

The MG22 type of encoder is typically used for relative positioning or velocity control.
