MAG incremental magnetic encoder
About the product
The bearing-free magnetic incremental MAG encoder systems are particularly flexible; thanks to the version with pulse wheel and scanning head, they offer the highest levels of design freedom. They are suitable for direct attachment to shaft diameters up to approx. 1500 mm. Thanks to their narrow width of only 15 mm, they are also particularly suitable for use in confined spaces. The pulse wheel is mounted directly on the shaft where it also measures high speeds without any problems. MAG encoder systems are suitable for harsh operating conditions such as in roller stands, drive shaft units on ships, for engines on open-pit excavators, toothed motors as well as gas and water turbines. The modular version with split pulse wheel offers a practical alternative for retrofitting and upgrading, or if there is no free shaft end available.
Magnetic encoders
- Hollow shafts up to approx. Ø 1500 mm and high speeds
- Bearingless, extremely rugged and non-wearing, contactless scanning
- Up to 100,000 pulses HTL / TTL
- Options: Additional magnetic track with reference pulse, FOC transmitter, overspeed switch, several scanning heads, stainless-steel ring, split pulse wheel
Construction type
- Hollow shaft
Output signals / Interfaces
- HTL, TTL, Switch output speed
