About the product

The FGH 8 incremental encoders for continuous hollow shafts up to Ø 80 mm are mostly mounted on the unused shaft end using an insulated adapter flange or directly on the shaft. Thanks to their flat design, they are ideal for attaching additional sensors such as speed switches, absolute encoders or combinations of these. Furthermore, there is also the option of a redundant configuration with two identical scanning systems and evaluation electronics. This increases safety or facilitates the supply of separate signals to the motor controls and a higher-level controller.
