About the product

The robust multiturn encoders AM ... 41 and AM ... H 41 SIL 3 can be used in a variety of applications to detect position and rotational speed for integrated safety. The AM ... (H) 41 models meet the highest safety requirements and are certified according to EN 61508 SIL CL3 and EN ISO 13849 PL e. They provide precise information about the position of the shaft and the number of rotations; they are installed in applications that have functional safety requirements, for example in steel and rolling mills, in mining as well as in ports and crane systems. In particular, thanks to the extremely robust foot design, it is possible to attach additional encoders to the other shaft end.
